Frequently Asked Questions

How does Palletline Logistics monitor service quality?
We maintain a regular watch on a wide range of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) which enables us to understand how our distribution and logistics services are performing and also to identify any areas for special consideration. We also supply detailed KPI reports to our customers in line with their own quality requirements.

What happens if deliveries go wrong?
Our commitment to service quality is second to none, but we do recognise that things can go wrong outside our control affecting particularly road haulage services, such as traffic incidents, breakdowns and other delays. On the rare occasions that this happens, our track and trace system enables us to understand very quickly where the problem has arisen and to take the appropriate action. Our aim is to let you know as quickly as we possibly can and to ensure that we do everything in our power to resolve the matter to your satisfaction and restore distribution and logistics services.

Do fluctuations in demand present a problem for you?
No. As part of the established Palletline pallet distribution network, and with an extensive fleet of vehicles and excellent relationships with subcontractors, we have the capacity to meet peaks and troughs in demand.

What happens if I need to store goods or even redistribute goods on pallets?
No problem. We have extensive warehousing capabilities and breakbulk facilities to meet your requirements.

Is there a surcharge for timed and tail lift deliveries?
This depends on the volume and profile of your freight, and will be agreed accordingly.

What is the latest collection time you can offer?
This depends on many variables, including your location and accessibility. However, we aim to provide services that meet and exceed our customers’ requirements, and in most cases special arrangements can be made to tailor our timings to meet your production and delivery requirements.
